The uses of clay

Orally

To cleanse the body and strengthen it against possible weaknesses, nothing is better like a 3-week treatment of clayey water in spring or whenever you feel the need: drink a glass of wine on an empty stomach every morning. You just need to use clay water that you will have prepared the night before. To do this, fill glass three-quarters of the water and pour a teaspoon of powdered green clay. Let sit overnight and drink in the morning. For the first few days, it may be difficult to drink the entire clay and water mixture. Then try to get used to it for a week: the first days drink only water, without stirring the clay, then the following days, mix the clay with the water and gradually drink the mixture.

This treatment allows eliminating toxins from the body and is especially recommended to the change of season. You can also drink clay water in case of diarrhoea: then drink 2 to 3 glasses per day until your transit is back to normal.

In the bath

Ideal for softening the epidermis and refining the skin texture, relax in a bath in which you will dilute 300 to 500 gr of green clay in fine powder. For sensitive skin, prefer white powdered clay.

For face masks, you have the choice of using ready-made clay or prepare your paste by mixing powdered clay with water. Apply in a thin layer all over the face for 10 to 15 minutes then remove the mask using a soft sponge and lukewarm water without rubbing. Then wait a few moments before applying your treatment.

The result: your skin is free of impurities your complexion is luminous. For the hair, do the same as for the face, letting the paste apply for about 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. The green clay is ideal for oily hair, while the pink clay and white is perfect for dry hair. Yellow clay, on the other hand, revitalizes your hair.
